Today’s question - What are your favorite and least favorite questions people ask you about your writing?

Well, shame on me because I can't think of anything right now. After 2 months of holidays and battling sickness from my family, my brain isn't cooperating. Also, I've set aside my writing-to-public relations for such a long time that I've fallen off the grid. I need to crank these old wheels again because I'm coming out of hiding!

Guess what? I'm one of the winners for the IWSG Anthology contest. Squeeeeeee!

Here is the list--congratulations, guys!

Oddly Suited by LG Keltner
Sea of Sorrows by AV Brown
Behind the Catcher’s Mask by Jennifer Lane
A Diver’s Ball by Angela Brown
Fearless Heart by Deborah Solice
The Dark Charade by CD Gallant-King
The Cog Prince by Elizabeth Mueller
Flower of Ronda by Myles Christensen
Remedy by Chelsea Ballard
Charleston Masquerade by Carrie-Anne Brownian

What methods do you recommend I use to making a comeback into the author world?

Congratulations on making it into the anthology! Hmm, I'd say that's a pretty good start for a comeback. :)

Thank you! It's hard to see that I lost my fanbase after Darkspell--I've had some things come up that took me away from the publishing world. Now to rebuild my empire. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you! It was so fun to write. :)

Congratulations, Elizabeth! I can't wait to read your story in this years anthology! All the best to you as you dive back into the author world. Just keep swimming as you hit the water. You'll be fine, and you have an anthology score propelling you forward!

Woo hoo! Congratulations on making the anthology, Elizabeth. I look forward to reading your story. What is it about? I agree with Madeline that getting back into the publishing game will motivate your marketing. I use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and bloghop giveaways, but I've hardly mastered the marketing game.

Congratulations on being selected for the IWSG anthololgy! This is a great way to start the year off. Like you, I have to get back in the marketing mode...which is going to be super hard, but here we go!

Wait, fan bases can go away? But I worked so hard to gain my two fans.
Congratulations on the anthology! For an off year, not doing bad at all.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I need to make it count. <3

Sounds like you're doing well with the marketing thing to me! I was pretty good at it but my brain is all dried out right now. Haha!

My story is about a girl who falls into a grandfather clock when it strikes 13 when she is summoned by a clockbound prince to free him. One of the hardest things for me when writing a short story is that I know there can be so much more to it as I'm used to writing full-length novels!

You're such a fun person, Angela! You'll have 'em eating right out of the palm of your hands! (( <3 ))

Thank you!

Two fans? That's wonderful! The ones I know of are my kids. Hahaha!!!
I hope I can recoup my losses over the last decade. Ugh...

Thank you, Michelle! Happy New Year to you too. :)

Thank you, Gina! I apologize for waiting so long to publish my comments. I see something shiny and I forget. See how bad I am? Eeeeee! x(
