Yes, You, as a Writer

How far that little candle throws his beams!

So shines a good deed
in a naughty world.

Lovely quote, Elizabeth!

is it wrong that I am giggling at Shakespeare saying 'naughty'? Probably just me and my fondness for the word... I love the sentiment though, of the good deed.

Hey Elizabeth,

Thanks for your visit on my blog! I'm not a writer, but I'm a reader ;-). I loooove books. What do you mostly write about?

I'm a shakespeare fan too. Went to visit his town and home in England 2 years ago, and bought that huuuuge book with all his stories. that book is heavier then me! ;-).

Thank you, Alex! :)

Jennifer, you're so cute!!! *hugs*

Clarissa, thank you!

Rachna, thank you!

Hart, funny that his definition of naughty and ours may have changed much. Or has it?

G, wow, really? I would've loved to have gone with you there, too! *sigh* I'm envious that you have his book of works! You know what, I LOVE readers!! ;) I love to write fantasy, paranormal, historical, contemporary and sciencefiction. Mystery scares me,though I could try my hand in it. Would I be good at it? :/ Most of my work is geared for young adult as I refuse to include sexual scenes, bad language and violence. Thanks for dropping by, I hope to see you again soon! :D

Jemi, I love it too! I feel every writer is like a candle in the dark of night!

Thanks, Jen, I'm glad to add this to your list! :D

Lisa, thank you! I hope you're enjoying your Sunday. We really need to chat soon!!!

Olivia, lol, thank you! Quotes never fail! ;)

Hi, Michelle! It's nice to see you. Thank you for your compliments! :)

Great quote. So does that mean that, as writers, we have a responsibility not to be naughty? Or simply to not add to the sum total of naughtiness in the world with our writing?

Hi Elizabeth,
This is a beautiful Quote from Shakespear.
William Shakespear reminds me of Classical music!
Classical music reminds me of light!
Light reminds me of the spirit.
