Almost very writer has a method, a pattern if you will, in which they follow to lay out there plot. Some, however, just let their characters take total control--and that's fine, too. Here is a basic outline in which you may plug in the points of your book so as to create a page turner.
HINT: using the following formula will help you create that dreaded synopsis!
Your character recognizes the goal.
S/he runs into a barrier.
S/he endures a low point.
At last, some hope!
Your character is happy, a high point.
Oh no! S/he is blindsided!
S/he hits the all-time low.
S/he faces a horrible struggle.
Hooray, s/he fights back. How?
