Tomorrow: We see who was the closest to guessing how the character looks like according to a picture I post. Fun!!
Her eyes sparked with anger. She tore away from his overpowering advances. “I will not do such a thing! I am pledged to Khandra. It is my duty to serve her until the day I die!”
Her venom stung Aldrek into silent shock. He watched her spin around and vanish behind the door. Before she could melt within the darkened shadows, he reached to pull her back to him. Instead, he caught the flowing material of her mantle. He gazed down at it. It swirled with the breeze that eddied around him. Mocking.
Like a maddened fool, he brought it to his nose and inhaled her alluring scent. Aldrek did not know whether to be angry by her insolence or thrilled by her opposition. Whatever drove her away; he would soon unearth and conquer. For does not every woman eventually fall to her knees in humble submission? She would be no different.
There you go! It's time to leave your thoughts on how you imagined Aldrek to look like. Tomorrow is the followup to the blogfest on the reveal (picture and short description of his personality).

ReplyDeleteI'm seeing someone very beautiful, probably a little exotic. Long, dark, luxurious hair, flashing dark brown (nearly black) eyes. Golden skin. Kind of like Gemma Arterton from Prince of Persia.

I'm gonna take a stab at describing both the feisty lady and Aldrek:
ReplyDeleteMs Feisty is average height, slim yet curvy, brunette with curly hair down past her shoulders (kinda like yours in your pic!). Piercing green eyes like a cat's. A looker.
Aldrek is Casanova incarnate but with sleaze thrown in. I picture wavy dark hair, tall and athletic, a trim beard and goatee, brown eyes with a hard edge, angular features.

ReplyDeleteMy Guess: Lavish long black hair, curled from top to bottom. Dark green oval shaped eyes. Round face, olive toned skin. Tall, slim yet curvy. Perfect complexion, glowing.
The male MC is strong, arrogant, cocky even. Hes muscular and expectant. He has dark brown eyes andhair. he's got broad shoulders.

ReplyDeleteHim...slightly taller than average, slight build. Not skinny, but he lives a life of leisure, so he's not as toned as he could be. Sandy brown hair, straight, longer ... brown eyes and a killer smile, but he rarely smiles.

Oh, wow! I loved your excerpt! I think she has long silky hair that is left to fall down her back most of the time. She's got bright blue eyes and a slender but curvy body. I can't wait to see what she really looks like in your next post!

ReplyDeleteI'd say her hair is red--feisty like she is and she's very strong, her eyes are green, and her complexion is flawless. She's petite but she seems taller because of her attitude.

ReplyDeleteThe girl is fiery, and so I see her with dark red hair and defiant, brilliant green eyes. She is tall, almost tall enough to look Aldrek straight in the eye, something he is not accustomed to in a woman.

Long dark, almost black hair. Her skin is a golden color like she spends hours tanning, but she doesn't. Her hair is always unkempt and she usually favors dresses over pants. She always wears thigh high boots no matter the season and are able to get around without a problem. Her wildness makes her feared and adored by men and women alike.
