Impromptu Mondays

I'm Prompt U!

The Time Machine

Okay. Mondays. I will assign my every Monday with a writing prompt. (I couldn't help but steal this idea from Lisa!)

It would be waaaay fun to write your thoughts in the comments below! Have fun!!!

When would you go if you had a time machine? Why?

  1. I would go between the years the oceans drank Atlantis and rise of the Renaissance, an age undreamed of when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars, a time when I could tread the jeweled thrones of the earth under my sandalled feet.

A time I chronicle twice in the latest short-story contest. I'd appreciate your vote Elizabeth-IF you can figure out which ones are mine.

  2. There you are!! I was hoping that I didn't scare you at the BYU food court! It's always nice to see you here!

Oooh!!! LOVE your artistical play in words! (Darn these rules against purple prose! Grrrr) >C

Okay, I'll go and drop by your short-story contest entry and vote. Thanks for allowing me the honor!!!

  3. Oooo, tough question! Hmmm...

Okay, I've been staring at this box for over 5 minutes and I still don't know. I think I'm fine right here, right now. :-)

  4. LOL, Shannon...! It is a scary thought it if could really happen, hu?

  5. Ooh, great question! I think I'd first go back to the wild west, just because I like cowboys. And then I'd go to the future so I could meet my MC's. :)

  6. Oooh, Elana! Interesting! Now I'm certainly interested in your book!!

  7. If I had a time machine I'd destroy it. I'm rather happy living my life the way I am. =]

  8. LOL, Laura! You're cute! I've thought about this. I'd go to the time Christ visited the Americas so I can see Him, but that wouldn't last long cuz He'd look at me and tell me to go back!
